
Pakistani squash player Muhammad Rayyan Zaman has won the Under-9 title at the 16th Redtone International Junior Squash Championship 2024 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 3-8. The tournament, organized annually by the Asian Squash Federation, features top junior squash talent from various countries.
Zaman, grandson of squash legend Qamar Zaman and son of Mansoor Zaman, triumphed over Malaysia’s Nideesh with a dominant 11/7, 11/5, 11/7 scoreline in the final.
This victory marks a significant milestone in Zaman’s career, showcasing his potential to rise among the top squash players in the future. His success is also a testament to the dedication and support of his coaches, trainers, and family.
Earlier this year, in September, Pakistani squash veteran Group Captain (retired) Irfan Asghar won the 6th Asian Master Squash Championship in Macau, China, marking his second victory in this event after his 2010 win.
