Renowned podcaster Adnan Faisal has revealed that actress Hania Aamir requested a fee of Rs2 million to appear on his podcast.
Speaking on a private TV channel, Faisal—who has hosted nearly 500 podcasts featuring political, social, and entertainment personalities—stated that he has never paid any guest for an appearance on his show.
During the discussion, he shared that he had approached Hania Aamir for an episode, but she asked for a substantial fee. While acknowledging that the amount might not be significant for a star like her, Faisal explained that he declined the request, as it could set a precedent for compensating guests.
“If I start paying one celebrity, others will expect the same, which would create complications,” he remarked.
He further pointed out that many actors willingly participate in his podcast without any financial demands, raising the question of fairness if only select guests receive payment.
Faisal also addressed previous controversies, including actress Saima Qureshi’s remarks about women’s earnings. He clarified that Qureshi, a senior actress and entrepreneur behind the clothing brand SQ, had shared a personal opinion during his podcast.
Additionally, he commented on the entertainment industry’s culture, stating that illicit relationships among married male actors should come to an end.
As of now, Hania Aamir has not responded to Faisal’s claims.
