Social media influencer Rahim Pardesi delivered an impressive performance, outclassing Pakistani actor Feroze Khan in a celebrity boxing match.
The highly anticipated bout, which quickly went viral on social media with clips and discussions highlighting the fierce competition, lasted just five minutes. Pardesi triumphed over the Khaani actor with a 4-1 split decision.
Four judges favored Pardesi, while one voted for Khan. The match took place at the Lahore Expo Centre, drawing thousands of viewers who watched via a live streaming platform.
Pardesi set the pace early, landing a strong jab and precise counters that kept Khan on the defensive throughout most of the fight. Feroze tried to fight back with heavy punches, seeking a knockout opportunity, but Rahim’s composure and effective counterpunching neutralized his efforts.
The match featured brief but intense exchanges, with both fighters throwing flurries. However, Pardesi’s superior defense and ability to slip punches kept him ahead on the scorecards. Khan, struggling with fatigue, began telegraphing his punches, allowing Rahim to exploit openings and land clean shots. By the time the final bell rang, it was clear that Pardesi had done enough to secure the win.
Despite a bloody nose, both fighters showed respect by shaking hands and praising each other’s efforts after the match. Footage from the final rounds captured the competitive spirit of the participants.
Pardesi later shared his thoughts on Instagram stories, expressing joy over his victory. He said that after such a performance, one always feels happy. “In my opinion, no one lost yesterday—everyone was a winner because it takes courage to step into the boxing ring,” he said.
He also praised Feroze as “a wonderful person” and commended his bravery for fighting five rounds.
Khan, who portrayed a boxer in the drama Akhara, had previously expressed plans to pursue boxing as a career. In an Instagram story, he said: “I’m into a new game plan, and it’s going to be a boxing career. I hope it inspires people to train hard and get fit, and opens the door for all athletes out there waiting for their chance.”
