Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, the social media sensation known for his comedic singing style, has announced plans to launch a music academy in Lahore.
During a recent television interview, Khan shared that the academy will offer training in both singing and acting, aiming to nurture aspiring talent.
Appearing on a private TV show, he entertained the audience with his signature humor and playful remarks. When questioned about his relationship status, he jokingly stated that he had been pursuing the show’s host for a year and wished to marry her.
Khan, who gained popularity with his rendition of Noor Jehan’s classic Bado Badi, remains a divisive figure in the music industry. While he enjoys a loyal fan base, his unconventional style has drawn criticism.
He also claimed that Pakistani musicians resent his success, remarking, “Indian music legends, producers, and directors admire my work, yet I don’t understand why Pakistani musicians and anchors do not.”
Despite facing skepticism, Khan urged fellow artists to stay dedicated to their craft and maintain a positive mindset.
He hopes that his academy will serve as a platform for emerging artists to refine their skills and establish themselves in the entertainment industry.
