Karachi Receives 107 Deported Pakistanis, Many Taken Into Custody

A total of 107 Pakistanis have been deported from 12 countries, including the United States, Belgium, and Saudi Arabia, with several arrested upon arrival in Karachi on charges of drug smuggling and counterfeiting, according to officials.

Immigration authorities reported that the United States and Belgium each deported two individuals. Oman and Saudi Arabia deported 13 Pakistanis each, citing various offenses.

Iraq deported 12 individuals, while Qatar and Cyprus each sent back two Pakistanis. One deportee returned from each of Senegal, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Bahrain.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) deported the largest group, sending 40 Pakistanis on multiple flights. Among them, 11 were arrested for drug trafficking, and two for circulating fake currency. These individuals had served prison sentences in the UAE before their deportation.
