
K-Electric has introduced a new discount initiative called the “Star Reward” program, aimed at customers who consistently pay their bills on time, as announced by a company spokesperson on Thursday.
This program is part of K-Electric’s effort to ease financial pressures on consumers and strengthen customer relationships through a redeemable rewards system.
“Given the current economic challenges, offering discounts will not only alleviate financial burdens but also build trust between consumers and the utility provider,” the spokesperson said.
K-Electric’s “Star Reward” is the first loyalty program in Pakistan’s power sector, showcasing the company’s commitment to innovative community support.
Ovais Munshi, the spokesperson for K-Electric, highlighted that this initiative is the first of its kind in the power sector to engage customers.
“Our program is rooted in the philosophy of empowering customers and promoting timely bill payments. The offers will encourage customers to keep track of their payments while enjoying discounts on healthcare, fitness, and travel,” he added.
Customers who qualify as “Star” users by paying their monthly bills on time and in full will gain access to various discounts. These offers, available through the K-Electric Live app, include lifestyle benefits as well as discounts on healthcare, dining, and entertainment.
K-Electric emphasized that the discounts are designed to meet everyday customer needs and will be updated monthly, with specific terms and conditions. The program will run year-round, motivating customers to stay up to date with their bills.
The objective of the program is to incentivize timely payments while providing added value through rewards.
