The CM was informed that a control room and data center have been established at the Central Police Office (CPO), equipped with a video wall to monitor seven locations via 35 cameras.
Equipment, including cameras and monitoring devices from Huawei and other suppliers, has been securely transferred to designated sites in Karachi. Five specialized vehicles have also been prepared for the project.
Additionally, surveys and renovations have been finalized for establishing Point of Presence (POP) sites at 18 police stations. The headquarters of the Safe City Authority is being set up on Shahrah-e-Faisal, with the land acquired and handed over to the National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC).
