Trump threatens Zuckerberg with life imprisonment in new book

In his upcoming book Save America, former President Donald Trump issues a stern warning to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, claiming that Zuckerberg could face life imprisonment if his company interferes in the 2024 US presidential election. Trump, who has repeatedly accused Zuckerberg of influencing the 2020 election in favor of then-candidate Joe Biden without providing evidence, asserts that severe consequences await those who “cheat” in the upcoming election.

An excerpt from the book, obtained by Politico, underscores Trump’s warning: “We are watching him closely, and if he does anything illegal this time he will spend the rest of his life in prison — as will others who cheat in the 2024 Presidential Election.”

Save America, set to be released on September 3, will be published by Winning Team Publishing and retail for $99, with signed copies priced at $499. The book includes a previously undated photograph of Zuckerberg visiting the White House during Trump’s presidency, accompanied by a caption suggesting Zuckerberg was plotting against Trump despite his friendly visits.

Recently, Zuckerberg has faced scrutiny for his decision to censor COVID-19 content on Facebook and Instagram under pressure from the Biden administration. In a letter to the US House of Representatives judiciary committee, Zuckerberg admitted that senior officials pressured Meta to censor certain content related to COVID-19.

As Trump gears up for a possible rematch against Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, his book signals a combative tone for his campaign. President Joe Biden, under increasing pressure from within his party, has withdrawn from the race, leaving Harris as the Democratic candidate.
