Hijaab Khalil, the daughter of writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar, is enduring significant criticism on social media following a scandal involving her father.
Recently, Qamar became the center of controversy after being targeted by a honey-trapping scheme orchestrated by a criminal group, which led to his release after he paid a ransom. The main suspect in the case claimed to have two videos of the acclaimed screenwriter, each lasting around 90 minutes.
The videos, released in two parts, show Qamar in compromising situations with a woman who allegedly lured him into the scheme. The first video depicts him smoking a cigarette in a private room with the woman, while the second reveals him completely naked and engaging in inappropriate behavior.
As a result, Khalilur Rehman Qamar has faced widespread condemnation. However, his daughter, Hijaab Khalil, has also come under fire from social media users. Hijaab, a TikToker and social media influencer known for her acting and lip-syncing content on Instagram, is now receiving harsh comments about her father’s scandal.
Comments on her Instagram reels include remarks such as, “Your father is in trouble, and you’re still posting here,” and sarcastic questions like, “How’s your father? Have the kidnappers called again?” Some users have mocked her father’s actions, while others have questioned her emotional response to the situation and even joked about her appearance.
In response to the influx of negative comments, Hijaab Khalil has restricted comments on her social media posts.
