Pakistani actress and television host Veena Malik has ignited controversy with new allegations against religious figure Mufti Qavi, claiming he is “secretly monitoring” actresses in the entertainment industry.
In a recent podcast interview with Hafiz Ahmed, Malik stated that Mufti Qavi had an alarming level of knowledge about the personal lives of actresses, citing an instance where he made comments about her appearance. She confronted him about how he was aware of such intimate details, and she described his response as defensive and intense.
Reflecting on her experiences in the spotlight, Malik remarked, “If honor and disgrace were in human hands, some people would waste no time in destroying others’ lives. I wonder how people can be so heartless.”
Previously, Mufti Qavi criticized Malik’s participation in Bigg Boss, questioning whether she could watch the show with her children. Malik responded that her children are aware of her work and can watch it with her without any issues.
Having been a former contestant on the Indian reality show Bigg Boss, Malik acknowledged that while she enjoyed the experience, it came with significant backlash. She explained that participating in Bigg Boss required signing an agreement that allowed producers to capture every moment, leaving them to decide what footage would be aired.
During the podcast, Malik recounted how Mufti Qavi not only kept a close eye on her career but also made remarks about her “beauty,” which she found to be intrusive.
