Sixteen Pakistani companies are participating in the Beautyworld Middle East 2024 trade exhibition, one of the world’s most prestigious beauty trade shows, in the United Arab Emirates, according to the Pakistani consulate general in Dubai.
Taking place from October 28-30 at the Dubai World Trade Center, Beautyworld Middle East 2024 is the largest international trade fair for the beauty and wellness industries in the region. The exhibition features over 1,800 exhibitors from 60 countries, with Pakistani companies showcasing a range of products including hair care, cosmetics, skincare, fragrances, perfumes, and personal hygiene items.
The Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai announced that the sixteen exhibitors are participating under the auspices of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s envoy to the UAE, praised the exhibitors for introducing “innovative and high-quality products,” emphasizing that their involvement is crucial for promoting Pakistan’s beauty and personal care products on a global scale.
The Pakistan Pavilion at the exhibition was inaugurated by Consul General Hussain Muhammad, who noted that the event provides an opportunity for Pakistani entrepreneurs to showcase their products, aiming to boost exports and attract foreign investment. He commended the exhibitors for diversifying their offerings and expanding their market reach, highlighting the consulate’s support in navigating the “globalized” Dubai market.
Pakistani businesses frequently participate in exhibitions in the UAE. Earlier this month, they showcased their growing capabilities in the IT sector at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) in Dubai, aiming to tap into the lucrative Middle Eastern markets.
